At National Christian Foundation West Michigan (NCFWM), we believe that God has called us to enable faithful stewards to give wisely to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
NCFWM is blessed with board members that truly act as "counselors" like those mentioned in Proverbs 11.
|Greg Markvluwer, Chairman Greg is Senior Vice President of Development and Finance at Granger Group of Companies. Greg is active with youth ministries within his church and is passionate about helping others maximize their stewardship giving.|
|Randy Veltkamp, CEO Randy served as president of National Christian Foundation West Michigan since September of 2003. He has been involved over the years with several western Michigan businesses, as well as Christian nonprofit consulting and board memberships.|
|Jamie Kuiper, President/General Counsel Jamie joined NCFWM in 2007. Previously, he worked as president of a family business and as a attorney. He loves encouraging people to grow in their faith by living generously and depending on Christ.|
|Joe Byker, Treasurer Joe works primarily on energy-related projects with his family’s company, Byker & Associates, lives in Hudsonville, MI, and is passionate about sharing God’s Word around the world and discipleship.|
|Wendell Christoff Wendell is co-owner of Litehouse Inc, a salad dressing, sauce and dip manufacturer. He has a passion for providing clean and safe water to people in need throughout the world. He has served Ada Bible Church and many community organizations in various roles.|
|Meg Cusack Meg is the mother of seven children. She enjoys apologetics and, along with her husband Kevin, is passionate about encouraging Christians to be faithful and effective in their giving.|
|James Dally James is owner of Mavcon Construction and Development, Biddergy.com, an online asset management company, and several other business ventures. James has a passion to assist faith-based organizations in being 11 talent servants with their finances.|
|Mike DeVries Mike is married to Betsy and they are the proud parents of Zac, Sarah and Alyssa. Mike is a real estate and business lawyer, and a principal in DeVries Properties and DeVries Development, a multi-faceted real estate development, brokerage, project management and property management company. He is interested in creating greater awareness of giving and sharing God’s blessings – and strategies to accomplish this.|
Mike Haverdink Mike and his wife Kirsti live in Hudsonville and have two married children. Mike is the president of Ottawa Kent Insurance as well as an Ottawa County commissioner. Mike and Kirsti are committed to helping people worldwide learn of Christ’s love and plan for their lives.
|Karen Melby Karen is the wife of Scott and mother of their five children. Together, she and Scott share a passion for worldwide missions. She also enjoys encouraging women towards a knowledge and love of the Lord.|
|Roger Sandberg Roger is the National Relationship Manager for National Christian Foundation. He assists NCFWM in relationship management. Roger has been involved with donor relations for 16 years, working with colleges and Christian organizations.|
|Matt Shatto / Nate Karsten Matt and Nate are business partners in SameDay Delivery, a regional transportation company located in Grand Rapids. Matt & Nate love investing in both new and old friendships and encouraging conversations about Jesus, business, and money.|
|Max Smith Max, currently the Treasurer and CFO of RBC Ministries, previously was the managing partner of Deloitte and Touche (Grand Rapids office). He is energized by building evangelical teams worldwide.|
|Roger Spoelman As Regional Market Executive for Trinity Health West Michigan and President/CEO of Mercy Health Partners, Roger has been involved with creating a healthier community and region for nearly three decades. He has served volunteer leadership roles at numerous charities and organizations throughout West Michigan.|
|Cheryl Timyan Cheryl is the mother of four boys. She was with Alcoa in Sales & Marketing for 15 years. Now retired and co-leading Common Ground Women's Non-denominational Bible Study, she is also actively involved with Young Life NE Grand Rapids and reaching kidswith the message of Christ|
|Brian Van Haren Brian and his wife LuAnn have four children. He is the owner of Van Haren Electric, an electric contractor specializing in commercial and industrial work. Brian's passion is best defined by his desire to become a man after God's own heart.|
|Gerard Winkle, Vice Chairman Gerard is owner of VanDrie Home Furnishings with four locations in Northern Michigan. He has a real passion to teach and model Christian stewardship.|
